Marketing Officer

We are seeking a creative, commercially minded Marketing Officer to join our growing team.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll support the delivery of marketing activity across Belfast Skin Clinic, creating high-quality content and helping to deliver engaging marketing across our digital channels. From managing our organic social media presence and updating our website to producing email campaigns and reporting on performance, you'll play an important role in ensuring our marketing is consistent, effective and aligned with our brand.

We're looking for someone with a passion for marketing, strong creative skills and a good understanding of how different marketing channels contribute to awareness, engagement and business growth. You'll be organised, proactive and confident using insight and data to continually improve your work.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Content

  • Create high-quality photography, videography and written content across social media, website, email marketing and other digital channels.
  • Produce engaging, educational and commercially effective content that reflects Belfast Skin Clinic's premium brand and clinical expertise.
  • Edit video and photography to create platform-specific content that performs across multiple channels.
  • Write compelling, patient-focused copy for social media, website, email marketing, blogs and patient communications.
  • Design high-quality marketing assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Maintain consistency across all marketing communications, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and colleagues to identify content opportunities and bring patient stories and clinical expertise to life.

Social & Digital Marketing

  • Manage Belfast Skin Clinic's organic social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
  • Develop, plan and maintain a proactive content calendar aligned to business priorities and marketing objectives.
  • Build and deliver email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, scheduling and performance reporting.
  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and optimised for search engines.
  • Monitor online reviews, social engagement and community conversations, responding professionally where appropriate.
  • Understand the role each marketing channel plays within the wider customer journey and adapt content accordingly.

Marketing Insight & Performance

  • Monitor the performance of content and marketing activity across social media, website and email channels.
  • Produce regular marketing reports, identifying trends, opportunities and actionable recommendations.
  • Use marketing insights and analytics to continually improve content performance and support decision-making.
  • Measure campaign and content effectiveness against agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Keep up to date with emerging marketing trends, digital platforms, consumer behaviour and industry best practice, proactively bringing forward new ideas.

Marketing Delivery & Collaboration

  • Support the Marketing Manager in delivering the wider marketing strategy and annual marketing plan.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Support the delivery of clinic events, launches, promotional activity and brand initiatives.
  • Build positive working relationships with clinicians, suppliers, agencies and external partners.
  • Provide flexible support across the wider marketing function as business priorities evolve.

Essential Criteria

  • Please submit your CV together with a portfolio (PDF or link) that showcases your social media and content creation work. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience creating high-quality photography, video and written content.
  • Experience managing organic social media channels for a business or brand.
  • Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience within healthcare, aesthetics, medical or another regulated sector.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website optimisation.
  • Knowledge of medical advertising regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting brand development or brand repositioning projects.
  • Experience planning and supporting events or promotional activities.
