About The Role
Join our B2B Marketing team and play a key role in strengthening Manchester Met's reputation and relationships with businesses and employers.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll develop and deliver engaging marketing activity that showcases the University's expertise, partnerships and business offer. You'll have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, from multi-channel campaigns and events to thought leadership, digital content and partnership storytelling.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver strategic and tactical marketing activity that supports our B2B marketing strategy.
- Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns, using a mix of digital, paid advertising, social media, email and other channels.
- Lead marketing activity and events that engage businesses, employers and strategic partners throughout the year.
- Create and manage a programme of engaging content, including thought leadership and partnership stories that showcase Manchester Met's expertise and impact.
- Build relationships with colleagues, partners, multipliers and intermediaries to identify opportunities to raise the profile of the University and our experts.
- Act as a key source of B2B marketing expertise, supporting colleagues across the University and helping to bring our business offer to life.

About The B2B Marketing Team
The B2B Marketing team comprises of 9 people and brings together colleagues from business engagement and strategic partnerships, degree apprenticeships, and the Centre for Enterprise. We work in a hybrid pattern, with colleagues typically working on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The B2B Marketing team develops marketing activity that engages businesses and employers and showcases the breadth of Manchester Met's offer to these audiences.
In this role, you'll work closely with colleagues across the University, including teams focused on degree apprenticeships, enterprise, research and innovation, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and employer engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how Manchester Met connects with businesses and strategic partners, highlighting the expertise, innovation and opportunities we offer to the business community.

- B2B marketing: Tell us about your experience of delivering B2B marketing and communications. Using a specific example, describe your role, the marketing techniques and channels you used, and the outcomes achieved.
- Stakeholders and communication: Tell us about a time when you have managed and influenced a range of stakeholders and built effective collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries. How did you communicate complex information and ensure successful delivery?
- Project delivery and reporting: Tell us about a complex project or piece of work that you have delivered with a high degree of independence. Please explain how you managed challenges, maintained accuracy and attention to detail, and used reporting, data or recommendations to support decision-making or improve services.
