Come and join us as a motivated and thoughtful Legacy Marketing Officer, known internally as Legacy Campaigns Marketing Officer, and be part of something life‑changing - helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.
About the Role:
As a Legacy Marketing Officer at Guide Dogs, you’ll manage the implementation of the Legacy marketing campaign programme to increase supporter acquisition, supporter development and stewardship. The Marketing Officer will be an expert at delivering multi-channel acquisition, retention and stewardship campaigns, using data and insight to drive performance and maximise income. Our Marketing Officer will play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.
This is a hybrid role, combining remote and office-based working. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our Reading Hub for a minimum of one day per week and more frequently as business needs require. Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm, although some flexibility can be offered for the right candidate.

- Manage the overall delivery of Legacy prospect recruitment and stewardship campaigns across all marketing channels including, but not limited to, direct mail, paid social and digital, broadcast (DRTV and radio), print and telemarketing.
- Work with Legacy Campaign Executive/s to write briefs for creative, data, response handling and supporter care.
- Seek innovative new ways to promote the product, enhance supporter experience and acquire new supporters.
- Manage suppliers to ensure quality work is delivered compliantly within the defined schedule and at a competitive cost.

You’ll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrable experience in a direct marketing environment, delivering a variety of projects across a variety of channels simultaneously.
- Proven experience of working with external suppliers.
- Proven understanding of direct marketing principles and techniques, and of briefing and interpreting analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven creative and analytical skills.
