Role Description
This is a fixed-term contract position for a 6-week minimum term.
We're looking for an organised, adaptable Marketing, Operations & Administration Assistant to join our team on a short-term basis, supporting a busy period across our events and marketing calendar. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys juggling multiple workstreams and can hit the ground running.

You must be highly organised with excellent communication skills, and experience working within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with event operations: delegate lists, logistics coordination, speaker and sponsor liaison, and day-to-day administrative support
- Data entry and maintenance of client, contact, and campaign records
- Supporting the production and distribution of marketing materials and communications
- General administrative support to the Marketing & Operations function, including inbox/diary support, scheduling, document preparation, and proof-reading
- Website updates across event websites to ensure agenda, speaker and sponsor information is continually updated as needed
- Ad hoc research and project support as priorities arise during the contract period
About You
- Previous experience in a marketing, events, or administrative support role (B2B, media, or events sector experience is an advantage but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines at once
- Confident with standard office and marketing tools (e.g. Microsoft Office/365; experience with WordPress, LinkedIn, and email marketing platforms such as ActiveCampaign is a bonus)
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- A proactive, can-do attitude – happy to support across a variety of tasks and departments where needed
- Willingness to join company meetings and attend online calls where necessary – this is a client-facing role
- Available for the full contract period, with flexibility for a possible repeat contract in November–December 2026
- Ability to work during UK working hours for 2-3 days per week. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm. We are open to split hours across 5-days provided fixed hours are agreed in advance.
