Marketing Operations Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Operations Analyst based in United Kingdom.
This is a data-first role focused on turning marketing and commercial data into clear, actionable insights.
- You’ll play a key role in tracking performance across global marketing functions and improving reporting quality.
- Working closely with Demand Generation and other teams, you’ll help strengthen processes and enable better decision-making.
- You’ll manage recurring reports and dashboards while also investigating ad hoc questions and performance trends.
- The role combines data analysis, reporting, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
- It’s well suited to someone who enjoys exploring complex datasets, solving problems, and continuously improving how teams work.
- You’ll also have opportunities to use AI and modern analytics tools to make reporting and analysis faster and more effective.
Accountabilities
- Own the preparation and delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing performance reports.
- Maintain recurring dashboards and reports that serve as a reliable single source of truth, ensuring documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible.
- Perform regular data-quality checks across multiple sources to identify and resolve issues affecting reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain Salesforce CRM reports to answer ad hoc questions around product, campaign, and programme performance.
- Use CRM, business intelligence, attribution, and AI-powered tools to analyse complex datasets and configure dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Analyse programme performance against KPIs, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve measurement and outcomes.
- Deliver actionable insights to marketing stakeholders, with a particular focus on supporting Demand Generation decision-making.
- Manage incoming data and reporting requests independently, escalating only the most complex or strategic projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting processes, data quality, and the overall effectiveness of marketing operations.

Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build formulas, work with large datasets, and navigate spreadsheets confidently.
- Genuine interest in data, reporting, and analysis, with a preference for analytical work over campaign execution or creative marketing.
- Experience in a data-heavy or commercially focused function such as Marketing Operations, Marketing Analytics, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, FP&A, or a similar area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the curiosity to investigate beyond surface-level numbers and identify meaningful insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working collaboratively across different departments and stakeholder groups.
- Willingness and ability to adopt AI tools to improve analytical workflows, reporting efficiency, and the quality of insights.
- Adaptability and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.
- Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Marketo, Tableau, or comparable CRM, data warehouse, marketing automation, or BI platforms is a plus, but not essential.
