The Business
The role sits across 2 businesses:
The Growth Collective (TGC) is a curated community and content platform for ambitious marketers, built around education, mentorship and experiences. Through events, retreats, content, community and our Behind the Growth podcast, TGC brings together some of the most exciting people in marketing and business to learn, connect and grow.
LD Consulting (LDC) is a specialist marketing and growth consultancy working with ambitious consumer brands across influencer marketing, partnerships, affiliate, social commerce and growth strategy. We work directly with founders and senior leadership teams, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution to help brands solve complex growth challenges.
The Role
This is not a traditional assistant role.
It’s an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants exposure to lots of different parts of building and running a business, from founder operations and social media to community, events, marketing and eventually client consulting. No two weeks will look exactly the same.
You’ll help with:
- Founder operations: Calendar and meeting management, organisation, follow-ups, priorities and helping introduce better systems and processes.
- The Growth Collective: Supporting community and social execution, lead research, event and webinar outreach, member communications, partner outreach and content scheduling.
- Project support: Supporting with project research, presentations, meeting preparation, project coordination and follow-ups.
- Everything in between: There will inevitably be projects we haven't thought of yet. We want someone who finds that exciting rather than intimidating.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Previous consulting or marketing experience is not required. More than anything, we’re looking for someone smart, hungry, resourceful and excited to learn.
