Behind every great campaign, creative idea and Travel Consultant experience is a marketing team making things happen. And as we continue to develop our Marketing & Communications function, we're looking for someone who can bring structure, momentum and accountability to everything we deliver.
We're hiring a Marketing Operations Lead to turn strategy into action, keep multiple teams moving in the right direction and make sure great work gets delivered on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.
This isn't a role about sitting back and reviewing plans. It's about owning the day-to-day operation of a busy marketing function, solving problems, supporting people and making delivery work better.

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of the operating rhythm across Communications & PR, Campaigns & Content, and Brand & Creative.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications, you'll translate strategic priorities into practical delivery plans, ensuring everyone understands what's happening, who's responsible and what needs to happen next.
You'll also lead three key team members, supporting their development while creating the structure and visibility needed for their teams to deliver confidently.

- Own the integrated Marketing & Communications delivery plan and operating calendar.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear timelines, responsibilities, dependencies and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate campaigns, communications and creative projects across multiple teams.
- Manage workloads, resources and competing priorities, protecting capacity and challenging unrealistic requests.
- Lead delivery meetings, resolve blockers and escalate decisions when needed.
- Oversee the marketing helpdesk, ensuring requests are triaged, allocated and responded to within agreed service levels.
People, Performance & Operations
- Line-manage the Senior Communications Executive, Campaigns & Content Manager and Brand & Creative Manager.
- Set clear objectives, provide coaching and hold team members accountable for delivery.
- Consolidate campaign performance reporting and provide clear updates on progress, risks and resources.
- Manage monthly budget reconciliation, suppliers, software licences and contract renewals.
- Improve workflows, governance and working practices across the function.
- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
Making Marketing Work for Travel Consultants
- A key part of the role is ensuring our Travel Consultants receive responsive, practical and coordinated marketing support.
- You'll work across the business to understand their needs, turn feedback into improvements and make it easier for them to access the marketing resources and support that help their businesses succeed.
About You
We're looking for an experienced marketing operations professional who knows how to turn ambitious plans into organised, measurable delivery.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience leading marketing operations, integrated marketing delivery or multidisciplinary marketing teams.
- Strong project management, workflow planning and resource allocation skills.
- Experience managing people, budgets, suppliers and operational reporting.
- A practical understanding of campaigns, communications, brand and creative production.
- Confidence in managing stakeholders, setting expectations and constructively challenging priorities.
- The ability to balance business-as-usual activity with reactive requests and strategic projects.
- Experience using AI and automation tools to improve workflows and reduce repetitive tasks.
- Strong commercial awareness, organisational skills and a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Experience in the travel industry or a recognised project management qualification would be advantageous, but neither is essential.
