Marketing Operations Manager
Osprey Flight Solutions · Full-time · Remote · Reports to the Global Head of Marketing
About the role
Osprey is a UK-based SaaS business backed by a leading US private equity investor. We provide market-leading risk intelligence to organisations working in some of the world’s most complex and safety-critical environments, across aviation, insurance, and government and defence, with other global industries next. Our North Star: to become the trusted decision platform for organisations where lives, assets and operations depend on getting it right.
As Osprey enters its next phase of growth, we’re creating a brand new Marketing Operations Manager role. You’ll be the first dedicated owner of marketing operations here, responsible for the technology, data, reporting and digital infrastructure behind our marketing, including the health of our website. You’ll work day to day with the wider marketing team and alongside the Revenue Operations Manager on reporting accuracy, with real room to shape how marketing operations works as we grow.
What you’ll be doing
MarTech and automation
- Own the marketing tech stack: Salesforce CRM (in partnership with Revenue Ops), Marketing Automation (Account Engagement) and ABX tooling.
- Manage lead scoring, lead routing and data hygiene across the funnel, and own the integrations between marketing, CRM and commercial systems.
Reporting and insights
- Build and maintain a shared marketing and commercial dashboard, giving the business one reliable view of pipeline and campaign performance.
- Own monthly go-to-market and campaign reporting, prepare the data behind executive and board reporting, and support pipeline and revenue forecasting accuracy.
- Analyse campaign and channel performance, such as cost per qualified lead and account engagement rate.
Website and digital health
- Own the technical health of Osprey’s three WordPress sites with our hosting provider: page speed, plugin and theme updates, and working with IT or dev support where needed.
- Own GA4 and tag management (tracking, event setup and attribution from first visit through to pipeline), plus the integrations between the websites, Salesforce and Account Engagement for form submissions, lead capture and routing.
- Alongside our compliance team, own data privacy for web and marketing data: cookie consent, GDPR and data retention.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Process and campaign operations
- Own campaign workflow, briefing and traffic management across the team, and support the Head of Marketing in tracking budget against plan.
- Support the monthly GTM planning cadence and the quarterly account-tiering refresh for our ABX programme.
- Help set sensible governance for how the team uses AI (Claude) in planning, content and reporting.
What you’ll bring
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in marketing operations, MarTech, CRM/automation or reporting-focused marketing, ideally B2B.
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM and Account Engagement (Pardot) experience, comfortable owning workflows, automation and data quality, not just using them.
- Confidence owning the technical and analytics side of a WordPress site: GA4, tag management, form and lead integrations, and basic site health.
- Working knowledge of data privacy practices for web and marketing data (cookie consent, GDPR, data retention). You don’t need to be a lawyer, but you know what good looks like and when to flag a risk.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort turning campaign and funnel data into clear, accurate reporting.
Even better if you have
- Experience with ABM/ABX tooling.
- Experience building dashboards in Salesforce reporting or a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Interest or experience applying AI tools to marketing reporting, research or campaign workflows.
- A background in aviation, risk, insurance or another complex B2B or enterprise sector.
What success looks like in your first year
- The shared marketing and commercial dashboard is live, trusted, and the single source of truth in every Quarterly Business Review.
- Salesforce and Account Engagement are clean and well governed, with lead scoring and routing documented and working, and data hygiene no longer a recurring fire drill.
- Website health, GA4 tracking and website-to-CRM integrations are audited, fixed where needed, and monitored as business as usual, with cookie consent, GDPR and retention practices reviewed and documented.
- Campaign workflow, briefing and budget tracking run on a consistent process the team relies on, replacing ad hoc spreadsheets.
- Monthly GTM reporting and the quarterly ABX refresh run like clockwork, freeing up the Global Head of Marketing and Senior Demand Generation Manager.
- There’s a clear view on where AI can responsibly speed up planning, content and reporting, with basic governance in place.
