Marketing Operations Manager
Location: London (hybrid, 2-3 days in the office)
Reporting to: Director of Revenue Operations
Experience: 3+ years
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own and continuously improve the systems, processes, and data that power our marketing engine. This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Sales. You’ll be responsible for making sure leads flow through our funnel effectively, campaigns can be accurately measured, our marketing technology works together, and our teams have reliable data to make decisions. This is an individual contributor role that will own the function within the Rev Ops team.
You’ll work closely with Marketing and Revenue Operations to turn business requirements into scalable processes and automation — from how we capture and route leads through to how we measure Marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue. We're also looking for someone who is excited about the opportunity AI creates for Marketing Operations. You'll be expected to actively explore how AI can improve our processes, automate repetitive work, surface insights faster, and make our GTM teams more effective. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly analytical, and comfortable getting into the detail. You should enjoy figuring out why something isn't working, tracing data through different systems, and building a better way of doing things.

You'll help us build a marketing-to-sales funnel that is clearly defined, measurable, and scalable.
You will:
- Own the operational management of the lead lifecycle from initial engagement through MQL, sales engagement, opportunity, and revenue.
- Build and maintain lead scoring, qualification, and routing processes.
- Ensure lifecycle stages and contact statuses are consistently and accurately managed across our systems.
- Monitor funnel performance and identify leads that are getting stuck, incorrectly routed, or not being followed up.
- Establish and monitor SLAs between Marketing and Sales.
- Analyse conversion rates, speed-to-lead, and funnel velocity.
- Identify leakage within the funnel and work with Marketing and Sales to address it.
- Build processes for lead recycling, remarketing, and re-engagement.
- Ensure inbound and outbound journeys are appropriately reflected in our systems and reporting.
Marketing Systems, Automation & AI
You'll be a key owner of our marketing technology ecosystem and its connection to the wider GTM stack.
You will:
- Own the day-to-day administration and optimization of our marketing automation platform.
- Partner closely with Revenue Operations on Salesforce and the wider GTM technology stack.
- Build and maintain workflows, automations, integrations, and data flows between systems.
- Troubleshoot system and data issues and identify their root cause.
- Translate Marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Continuously identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation.
- Explore and implement AI-powered workflows and solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Marketing and GTM operations.
- Use AI to accelerate analysis, identify patterns, and surface actionable insights from our GTM data.
- Evaluate where AI and automation can replace repetitive operational work while maintaining appropriate data quality and governance.
- Test and QA new workflows before deployment.
- Maintain clear documentation of key systems, processes, and automations.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of new marketing technology.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
