Description

Cornwall Insight is a trusted independent expert in data, analysis and forecasting for the energy transition. We provide comprehensive market intelligence, forecasts, consultancy and learning to organisations navigating the complexities of the GB and Irish energy markets, from renewable generators and flexibility providers to energy suppliers, large users, and investors. Cornwall Insight is widely recognised for the independence, depth and reliability of its insight.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end marketing operations engine that underpins Cornwall Insight’s lead nurturing and demand generation activity. Working at the intersection of marketing, sales and technology, the Marketing Operations Manager owns the design, build and continuous improvement of automated nurture programmes, lead scoring models and the wider marketing technology stack – ensuring Salesforce, Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) and connected tools operate as a single, reliable source of truth. The role partners closely with the GTM sales team, Salesforce coordinator, agencies and the wider marketing team to ensure Sales Ready Leads are identified, routed and converted efficiently, and that marketing and sales remain closely aligned around a shared view of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve automated nurture programmes across the prospect and customer lifecycle within Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Design, build and refine lead scoring and grading models, working closely with Sales to ensure Sales Ready Leads are identified and handed over at the right point in the funnel.
  • Manage integration and data flow between Pardot, Salesforce and other marketing/sales tools, ensuring accurate, timely synchronisation and good data hygiene.
  • Partner with the GTM Sales team to align on lead definitions, hand-off processes and reporting on funnel performance.
  • Work closely with the Salesforce Coordinator to maintain and evolve the CRM/marketing automation architecture, troubleshoot integration issues and implement new functionality.
  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to embed marketing automation best practice into campaigns, content and events.
  • Build and maintain reporting and dashboards on nurture programme performance, lead scoring effectiveness and MQL-to-SQL conversion.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and email marketing regulations (UK GDPR, PECR) across all automated communications.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to introduce new automation, personalisation and segmentation capability to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), providing training and support to the marketing team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
