NO AGENCIES PLEASE, we have our preferred agency on hand.

We have a new opening for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing team, based out of Bury St Edmunds. The career path on offer is, literally, unmatched!

Unmatched is part marketing agency, part business consultancy, with a specific focus on HubSpot, and on making HubSpot effortless for businesses of all sizes. We're a HubSpot Diamond Partner working with clients across the UK and Europe, with a few in North America too.

About the role

This is a client-facing delivery role. You'll be the person who makes our clients' marketing run: campaigns out the door on time, data clean enough to trust, reporting that answers the question it was built to answer.

This is a new permanent role joining our team of 9, working alongside our HubSpot Consultants. Where our Consultants scope and architect, you'll own the operational engine. Building the campaigns, keeping the lifecycle logic honest, fixing the data, and turning "can we see this?" into a report that holds up.

You'll work across multiple client accounts at once, so you'll need to be organised and comfortable switching context. We work collaboratively, from Managing Director through to Apprentice, so you'll get exposure to a bit of everything.

To be successful you'll need to keep learning across all things HubSpot. We fund further training as needed and you get allocated time for HubSpot Academy courses.

You'll need at least 2 years' hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform. Our interview process will test the practical stuff: how you'd actually build it, not how you'd describe it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We're a flexible team, but we'll need you in our Bury St Edmunds office 2 days a week (free parking) so you can help our team grow and learn. We love remote working too, so we'll make sure you're fully set up to work well from home.

We have a regular office dog who loves a cuddle, so being comfortable around dogs is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Building and launching client marketing campaigns end to end: emails, landing pages, forms, workflows, lists and social.
  • Owning lifecycle stage logic, lead scoring and handoff processes so sales teams get the right leads at the right time.
  • Data hygiene. Deduplication, property standardisation, import validation, and the unglamorous work that makes everything else possible.
  • Building dashboards and reports clients actually use, and explaining what the numbers mean.
  • Supporting integrations between HubSpot and the other tools in a client's stack, and troubleshooting when a sync misbehaves.
  • Documenting what you build so the next person, client or colleague, can pick it up.
  • Spotting the process problem behind the ticket, and telling us about it.
  • Keeping on top of the campaign calendar across accounts and keeping stakeholders informed of changes.
  • Coming up with fresh ideas for client and company campaigns. No idea is a bad idea.
