Founded in 1882, Tottenham Hotspur is an iconic English football club, playing in the Premier League and Women’s Super League. From North London to the world, our fanbase spans continents, cultures, and generations.

Tottenham Hotspur is a club that’s always dared to push boundaries, breaking new ground, and rewriting history. We are at our brightest when we’re all together. Our club, our teams, our community.

We are entering a new era at Tottenham with a new club strategy, new leadership, and a focus on putting our supporters at the heart of everything we do as we continue to strengthen our connection with our home, each other, and the DNA of our club. A big part of achieving this is through our marketing department, a centre of excellence responsible for our Brand (what we say), our Creative (how we say it), and our Digital strategy (where we say it).

Role Purpose

We're looking for a commercially minded, highly organised and strategically focused Marketing Planning Lead to drive the planning, prioritisation and operational delivery of marketing activity across the Club.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring marketing efforts are aligned to our marketing objectives, balancing long-term strategic priorities with daily operational demands. They will act as the chief of marketing staff across marketing functions and key business stakeholders, driving clarity, accountability and execution excellence.

Working across multiple teams, the Marketing Planning Lead will be responsible for developing planning frameworks, managing marketing roadmaps, optimising resource allocation and ensuring that marketing deliver.

This role will suit an individual who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys solving complex organisational challenges and can seamlessly switch between strategic thinking and hands-on operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate Clubs priorities into clear, actionable marketing plans, ensuring strategic objectives are effectively delivered through marketing activity
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between marketing, commercial, digital, product and operational teams, ensuring activities are coordinated and prioritised effectively
  • Establish and maintain marketing governance processes, planning frameworks and ways of working that improve efficiency and accountability
  • Own and manage the integrated marketing roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives, BAU activity and emerging business priorities
  • Monitor capacity, resources and budget allocation across the marketing function, identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for optimisation
  • Use data, insight and performance reporting to inform decision-making and continuously improve marketing effectiveness
  • Lead regular planning and review sessions, ensuring clear ownership, progress tracking and delivery against objectives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
