Build the future of marketing operations with us

We are looking for a Marketing Planning & Production Manager to join Lookers! Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Operations, this is a pivotal new role that will help shape how our marketing team plans, produces, and delivers work across the business.

This is a rare opportunity to join at the beginning of an exciting transformation. Rather than inheriting established processes, you'll play a key role in creating them. You'll bring structure, visibility, and consistency to our marketing operations while leading planning and production activities that ensure creative and content delivery is aligned to business priorities.

As a senior member of the team, you will also deputise for the Head of Marketing Operations when required, providing leadership, direction, and support across the wider function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and run the team's planning cadence, including quarterly, monthly and weekly planning cycles, ensuring priorities, capacity and deadlines are visible and aligned.
  • Translate marketing strategy into clear priorities, actionable plans and defined workstreams.
  • Manage production across creative and content teams, ensuring work is delivered on time, to a high standard and in line with business objectives.
  • Track progress, identify risks, remove blockers and maintain momentum across multiple projects.
  • Oversee workflow management, resource planning and team capacity.
  • Establish and continuously improve processes, tools and reporting that create efficiency and consistency from brief through to delivery.
  • Own our relationship with key workflow and asset management platforms, evolving the tech and integration into the wider Marketing team.
  • Partner with stakeholders across marketing and the wider business to manage demand, align expectations and balance competing priorities.
  • Produce regular reporting on output, performance, planning and resourcing for the Head of Marketing Operations and Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Act as deputy for the Head of Marketing Operations when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
