Help give a growing grassroots CIC a stronger voice.
Shape our communications, PR and storytelling so the achievements and voices of young people and communities reach funders, partners, businesses and wider audiences across Birmingham and beyond.
What difference will you make?
Grassroots organisations can be doing extraordinary work without having the resources to make sure the right people hear about it.
Your expertise will help Integrate Hope communicate its impact more confidently and consistently, allowing us to reach new partners, funders, volunteers and communities.
Strong communications will also give greater visibility to the achievements and experiences of the people participating in our programmes, while ensuring their stories are shared appropriately and respectfully.
By helping us develop a communications approach that our team can sustain, your contribution will continue benefiting Integrate Hope beyond individual campaigns or posts.
Ultimately, greater visibility can lead to stronger partnerships, increased funding opportunities and more people accessing our programmes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are looking for someone with professional experience in marketing, PR, communications, media, branding or strategic content.
We would particularly value experience in
- Communications strategy
- Public relations and media relations
- Brand positioning and messaging
- Storytelling and copywriting
- Social media strategy
- Press releases and media pitches

- Community or social-impact communications
Experience within the charity, CIC or voluntary sector would be valuable but isn't essential.
We particularly value someone who understands that effective communications involving vulnerable communities and young people require sensitivity, consent and ethical storytelling.
