Our client is a highly successful Manchester-based multidisciplinary property consultancy experiencing significant growth across the built environment sector.
With an excellent reputation for delivering specialist consultancy services across Domestic Retrofit, Building Surveying, Building Safety, and Project Management, the business works with clients to create safer, more sustainable, and higher-performing buildings.
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced Marketing & Proposals Manager to lead the company's marketing activity and take ownership of the preparation of high-quality bids, tenders, and client proposals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional
who enjoys working closely with technical teams and transforming complex information into compelling communications that support business growth.
The Role
Reporting to the Directors, you will play a key role in developing the company's brand, strengthening market presence, and supporting business development activity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering the marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Managing brand consistency across all marketing channels and communications.
- Creating engaging content including case studies, capability statements, presentations, website content, newsletters, and thought leadership articles.
- Managing digital marketing activity, website content, SEO, and social media campaigns.
- Leading the preparation of bids, tenders, framework submissions, and procurement responses.
- Coordinating technical input from internal teams to produce compelling and accurate submissions.
- Supporting client presentations, interviews, and business development initiatives.
- Maintaining proposal libraries, marketing resources, and CRM information.

About You
We are looking for an organised, creative, and proactive marketing professional with strong written communication skills and experience producing high-quality client-facing content.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience within a marketing, communications, bid, or proposals role.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading ability.
- Experience producing tenders, proposals, or technical submissions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience managing websites, digital marketing, and social media platforms.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
Experience within construction, property consultancy, surveying, engineering, architecture, or professional services would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of public sector procurement, frameworks, retrofit, building safety, or asset management would also be beneficial.
