Marketing & Publicity Specialist

DNEG is a world-leading visual effects (VFX) and animation company for the creation of film, TV, and immersive content. We are hiring for a Marketing & Publicity Specialist to join us for a fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting in September 2026.

Working as part of DNEG’s global Marketing & Communications team, and line reporting to the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, you will lead the promotional work around DNEG’s work on selected film and episodic series, helping to develop and implement promotional strategies and utilising appropriate methods of promotion, publicity, and communications to help realise business goals.

You’ll be tasked and trusted to build relationships with our clients’ publicity and marketing departments, obtaining permissions for press material, show talks and awards submissions. You will engage with local industry organizations, and help manage and coordinate a calendar of virtual and in-person industry events, organize speakers, seek necessary approvals and create content to promote our work. You’ll drive initiatives to continually showcase DNEG as a leader in the visual effects industry and will be relied upon to manage press interactions between the media and senior members of our staff on important and sensitive matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
