Marketing & Sales Operations Manager
Based in Manchester (UK), Tallinn, or Tartu (Estonia)

About the Role
Weâre seeking a Sales Operations Manager to design, automate, and sustain Fractoryâs Salesforce CRM. This wonât be a backoffice filing systemâit will be a working framework that fuels sales growth through structure, automation, and real-world adoption. The role sits between Sales, Marketing, data teams, and leadership to automate workflows, refine forecasting, and eliminate pipeline friction.
Youâll own the commercial operating system: defining stages, enforcing data hygiene, automating handoffs, and ensuring clarity across revenue stages. Scale-ups need systems that keep up with growthânot hold it back. This role moves at that speed.
Perfect for: A pragmatic, process-driven operations leader fluent in sales. Someone who knows CRM isnât an admin tool, but a force multiplier for commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesĺorm Operation Design & Ownership
- Design and maintain Salesforce pipeline architecture, including stages, field definitions, object rules, validation logic, and workflows.
- Build automations to route leads, schedule follow-ups, trigger alerts, and progress deals (Sales Engineers, BDRs, Account Managers).
- Define clear account ownership logic, AM cadences, expansion tracking, and deal handoff processes.
- Own Salesforce permissions, profiles, and user managementâensuring teams have access without compromising data integrity.

2. Data Quality & CRM Integrity
- Set enforceable data standards: capture rules, ownership definitions, and approval workflows.
- Conduct regular auditsâdeduplication, stale record clean-ups, and rectifying ownership ambiguity.
- Introduce continuous CRM hygiene in collaboration with the sales team, not top-down maxims.
3. Commercial Visibility & Dashboards
- Develop and refactor Salesforce dashboards (funnel distribution, conversion rates, velocity, forecast vs. actuals, stalled deals).
- Partner with the data team to align metric definitions and reporting standardsâto deliver actionable insights without being a data science role.
- Ensure stakeholders use dashboards with confidence, not tricks or red herrings.
4. Hybrid Functionality
- Work closely with CRO, regional sales leadership, Marketing, and data teams to define commercial processes.
- Turn fuzzy processes into clear, adaptable templates thatáşnmote adoption.
Requirements
The Core Perks

Strict Necessities
â 2â5 yearsâ hands-on experience in:
- Salesforce administration (configuration, workflow validation, reporting, automation)
- CRM operations (process design, adoption planning, data hygiene)
â Deep practical knowledge of:
- CRM as a commercial enablerânot a task manager. Understand how to map pipeline to forecasting to sales performance.
- Enforcing data discipline without creating cynicism about the process.
- B2B BDR/AM workflows, multicomponent deals, deal incubation, and stage progression.
â Must:
- Have brought order to a CRM before.
- Be baffled by a messy pipeline, but patient as you fix it.
- Strong Project Management & Communication skills.

Bonus Experience
đš Salesforce Administrator certification (or at least determined to get it). đš Experience in a high-growth B2B software, marketplace, or DAC (SaaS, SaaS, B2B). đš Built enhanced dashboards for sales leadership and trained teams to interpret them independently. đš Worked with grant-enterprise platforms (e.g., companies with $20m+ annual pipeline).
