We are looking for a Growth Optimization - Marketing Scientist Manager to bridge the gap between advanced data science and impactful marketing strategy. In this business-facing analytical role, you will act as the team’s analytical compass and GPS system—not just analyzing where we have been, but mapping the route forward by proactively recommending data-inspired campaigns, setting the direction for growth, and building the framework to measure success.
You will serve as a key translator, turning complex business challenges into data science problems, and distilling those findings back into actionable business solutions. If you are highly proficient in SQL and Python, understand machine learning conceptually, and have a passion for steering marketing strategy with robust data, we’d love to have you on the ride.
This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in the United Kingdom to maintain effective collaboration across teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the Marketing Compass: Proactively analyze user behavior and trends to uncover hidden growth opportunities. Serve as the GPS for the broader marketing team by recommending data-driven, data-inspired campaigns and ensuring they are rigorously measured.
- Be the Business Translator: Serve as the strategic bridge between technical data science and business leadership. Present analytical and data science findings back to a business audience in a clear, impactful way.
- Architect Lifecycle Flows: Design, test, iterate, and measure complex user lifecycle flows, including onboarding sequences, retention loops, and dormancy/win-back campaigns.
- Evolve CRM Infrastructure: Think through our CRM as a scalable product. Identify, define, and architect the data streams required to power the next generation of AI-enabled marketing science.
- Building Attribution Models: Own attribution and measurement for all marketing, including acquisition and performance marketing. Leverage data to continuously optimize CAC/LTV dynamics.
- Build Marketing Models: Comfortably develop and deploy marketing-focused models (e.g., response models, user clustering, persona segmentation, and churn prediction) and use model outputs to help design sophisticated experiments.
- Define Strategy & KPIs: Help set KPIs for the team and think holistically through how we measure marketing campaigns as a whole to ensure overarching business success.
- Leverage MarTech Platforms: Daily utilization of our marketing technology stack, including tools like Appsflyer, Braze, and internal CRM systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
