Marketing Specialist – EU Marketplaces 6 month FTC
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support high-profile deal events and customer engagement initiatives across EU marketplaces, with a particular focus on major Q4 peak periods.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns, working across onsite and outbound customer channels to drive acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard. The role would suit someone who enjoys turning plans into action, is highly organised, and thrives when managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end execution of large-scale deal event marketing campaigns across EU marketplaces, particularly during Q4 peak periods.
- Drive onsite merchandising and customer funnel initiatives designed to improve product discovery, conversion, and customer retention.
- Execute lifecycle and transition marketing campaigns across onsite placements and outbound communication channels.
- Coordinate and launch customer-facing communications, including email, push notifications, WhatsApp, and other external marketing channels.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Business teams to coordinate campaign delivery and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Monitor campaign execution, identify, and resolve operational issues, and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Support continuous improvements to campaign processes and execution, using data and operational KPIs to identify opportunities to improve performance.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and execution-focused, with the ability to work confidently in a fast-moving environment. You’ll bring:
- Experience in marketing, merchandising, campaign management, or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working in a data-driven environment and using performance information to inform decisions.

Desirable Experience
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- Experience working on ecommerce or retail marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of onsite merchandising and customer engagement strategies.
- Experience with CRM, outbound marketing, or lifecycle marketing channels.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and operational KPIs.
