Marketing Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Salary: £170-£250 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 40 hours per week
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join a fast-paced European marketing team supporting major online retail events and customer engagement initiatives. This role will play a key part in delivering large-scale seasonal campaigns while contributing to the development and testing of innovative marketing automation solutions. The successful Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns across multiple customer touchpoints, helping to drive customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention across European markets.
Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist
- Support the delivery of large-scale promotional and deal-event marketing campaigns across European marketplaces.
- Execute onsite merchandising initiatives designed to improve customer discovery and conversion.
- Manage customer lifecycle marketing campaigns across digital channels.
- Coordinate and launch customer communications including email, app notifications, messaging platforms, and homepage placements across multiple European markets.
- Work closely with marketing, merchandising, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Monitor campaign performance and operations, identifying and resolving issues where required.
- Maintain high standards of quality across all customer-facing communications.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing, merchandising, campaign management, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Experience with onsite merchandising and/or outbound marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of marketing strategy and customer engagement principles.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting ecommerce or retail marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of CRM, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement platforms.
- Ability to analyse campaign performance metrics and operational KPIs.
- Exposure to marketing technology, AI-driven solutions, or automation tools.
- Graphic design experience would be advantageous.
