Marketing Specialist & Content Creator

Location: Birmingham (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time (5 Days Per Week)

About Lal Qela

Lal Qela is one of Birmingham’s leading Pakistani restaurants, serving thousands of guests every month. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative, commercially minded Marketing Specialist to take ownership of our marketing, branding and digital presence.

This is not just a content creation role. You’ll be responsible for developing marketing strategies, creating campaigns, strengthening our brand, organising events, building partnerships and producing engaging content that drives measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy.
  • Plan, manage and deliver seasonal, promotional and event-based marketing campaigns.
  • Research market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute brand awareness initiatives that increase customer engagement and sales.
  • Plan and host brand events, launch events, influencer experiences and community activations.
  • Build relationships and collaborations with influencers, local businesses, organisations and strategic partners.
  • Manage the company’s social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and future platforms.
  • Film, edit and publish engaging short-form and long-form video content.
  • Create and maintain a structured content calendar.
  • Write engaging captions and marketing copy aligned with the brand voice.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse marketing data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with management on new product launches, promotions and future marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand Management or Social Media Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and campaign development.
  • Excellent video filming and editing skills.
  • Experience using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Birmingham.
