About The Role
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team based in Lisburn. This permanent position is ideal for a creative and strategic marketing professional eager to make a significant impact on our brand visibility and business growth. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our digital presence, including website management, social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and multimedia content creation. Your efforts will be focused on increasing online traffic, improving search engine performance, and elevating the company’s profile across various platforms. Additionally, you will develop engaging content, produce visual and video materials, and support event and sponsorship initiatives to showcase our capabilities and achievements. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager, you will explore new partnership opportunities, assist in campaign planning, and contribute to the overall marketing strategy to maximize revenue and brand awareness.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree, Level 6 NVQ, HND, or an equivalent qualification in marketing or a related discipline. Proven experience in website management, including content creation, SEO, analytics, and visual design, is essential. You should have a strong background in managing and growing social media platforms, with the ability to create compelling written and visual content tailored for different channels. Experience in email marketing, including segmentation, scheduling, and performance analysis, is also required. Additionally, proficiency in creating and editing high-quality video content for various digital channels is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate excellent graphic design skills with experience using graphic design software. Strong written communication skills, capable of tailoring content for online and offline channels, are vital. You should also have experience in developing marketing plans and business cases, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of activities aimed at enhancing the company’s marketing efforts. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and updating the company website
- Creating engaging content
- Optimizing for search engines
- Analyzing web traffic data to improve performance
You will oversee social media channels by:
- Developing content calendars
- Scheduling posts
- Managing paid advertising campaigns
- Analyzing engagement metrics to grow our online presence
Developing targeted email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation and performance tracking, will be a core aspect of your role. You will produce and edit videos for social media, YouTube, and event use, ensuring high-quality visual storytelling. Creating compelling graphic designs for digital and print materials will help elevate our brand visibility. Drafting articles for newsletters and external publications will support our efforts to communicate our achievements and initiatives. You will also develop comprehensive marketing and communications plans, deliver presentations to internal and external audiences, and assist in event planning and execution to maximize engagement opportunities. Additionally, you will support the Marketing Manager in identifying and securing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities, contributing to the growth and reputation of Briggs Equipment Ltd.
