🚀 Marketing Specialist – Global E-commerce Marketplace

📍 London – 5 days per week onsite

💰 £250 per day plus holiday

📅 6-month contract

An exciting opportunity has opened with one of the world’s largest and most recognisable online marketplaces. We’re looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to support major deal events and customer engagement campaigns across European marketplaces. You’ll contribute to high-profile Q4 peak activity, helping create a seamless shopping experience for millions of customers.

The Opportunity

You’ll support end-to-end marketing execution across onsite merchandising, lifecycle campaigns and outbound customer communications. Working in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment, you’ll partner with marketing, merchandising, operations and commercial teams to launch accurate, engaging and high-impact campaigns across multiple European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • ✅ Deliver large-scale deal-event campaigns across EU marketplaces
  • ✅ Support high-profile Q4 peak and seasonal trading events
  • ✅ Execute onsite merchandising initiatives that improve product discovery and conversion
  • ✅ Deliver lifecycle and transition marketing campaigns
  • ✅ Coordinate email, push notification, WhatsApp and other customer communications
  • ✅ Manage multiple campaigns across different European markets
  • ✅ Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely launches
  • ✅ Monitor campaign execution and quickly resolve operational issues
  • ✅ Maintain high standards across every customer touchpoint
  • ✅ Review campaign performance and operational KPIs

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in marketing, merchandising or campaign management
  • Strong knowledge of digital and customer engagement channels
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence managing multiple campaigns and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities
  • The ability to work independently in a highly data-driven environment
  • An analytical mindset and confidence interpreting campaign metrics
  • Experience within e-commerce, retail marketing, onsite merchandising, CRM or lifecycle marketing would be highly beneficial
