Marketing Specialist – dealOS

About the Role

dealOS is hiring a Marketing Specialist to lead the launch of our platform and build our founder acquisition engine. You'll own the strategy and execution across content, community, and direct outreach to establish dealOS as the go-to platform for founders raising capital.

This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly shape how 10,000+ founders discover and use dealOS. You'll work across content, partnerships, product, and investor relations to drive founder adoption and build the online presence of an early-stage fintech company.

Location: London/Hybrid/Remote

What You'll Do

Content & Thought Leadership (30%)

  • Create foundational content assets: fundraising guides, quarterly reports, founder case studies
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar (2-3 pieces/week) targeting founder pain points and SEO
  • Position dealOS and the team as experts in founder fundraising (blog, LinkedIn, webinars)
  • Work with founders to create customer success stories and testimonials

Founder Outreach & Community (35%)

  • Build personal presence in founder communities (LinkedIn, Indie Hackers, YC networks, Twitter)
  • Design and execute direct founder outreach campaigns (email + LinkedIn)
  • Manage partnerships with accelerators, investor networks, and founder organizations
  • Attend and represent dealOS at founder events and conferences

Product-Led Growth & GTM (20%)

  • Collaborate with product on freemium tier strategy and conversion optimization
  • Design founder onboarding campaigns and activation sequences
  • Track and optimize key metrics: free-to-paid conversion, founder acquisition cost, retention
  • Identify partnership opportunities and co-marketing channels

Strategic Partnerships (15%)

  • Develop relationships with accelerators (YC, Techstars, 500 Global) for cohort access
  • Partner with investor networks to reach their portfolio founders
  • Create co-branded content and joint webinars with strategic partners
  • Manage referral programs and partner incentive structures

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • 2-5 years of B2B SaaS marketing, founder-focused product experience, or startup marketing
  • Proven ability to create content that resonates with founders/entrepreneurs
  • Strong writing skills; comfort with both long-form (guides, reports) and short-form content
  • Experience with direct outreach (email, LinkedIn, community engagement)
  • Comfort with data: track metrics, run experiments, iterate based on results
  • Self-directed and action-oriented; can own strategy and execution in a lean environment

Nice-to-haves:

  • Personal founder or startup experience
  • Deep network in the founder or investor community
  • Experience launching products or building GTM from scratch
  • Familiarity with fundraising (investor relations, term sheets, capital markets)
  • Experience with marketing automation or CRM tools

Personality fit:

  • Genuine interest in helping founders succeed
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; excited to build something new
  • Collaborative but independent; can work cross-functionally and take ownership
  • Curious and coachable; ready to test, learn, and iterate
