Marketing Specialist - Fluent German
Our international client requires an experienced Marketing Specialist - Fluent German to join on a fixed-term maternity cover position until approximately the end of September 2027.
Depending on business needs and mutual interest, there may be an opportunity to extend the contract or continue employment within the company.
About the Role
This position will be responsible for all social media and digital channels, reporting to the Director of Marketing. The digital specialist will lead conversations around the brand, engaging with consumers, estheticians, providers, influencers, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Manage social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Editorial calendar
- Community management
- User-generated content (UGC)
- Contests
- Boosted content and lives

Generate organic content
- Liaise with the Influencer agency and Sales Teams

Track and measure Social Media Performance

Cross-functional collaboration:
- Customer Care
- Sales
- Loyalty
- Product
- Quality

Customer support and communication:
- Use excellent customer service and communication skills
- Support and nurture customers & consumers using our brand voice

Monitor conversations in the beauty, skincare, and health space, and insert Hydrafacial into the conversation.

Assist the Marketing team in day-to-day activities such as:
- Scheduling influencer & contest winner appointments
- Creative briefs
- Content management

Content management:
- Explore tagged content to select shareable content & repost content to Instagram stories daily
- Use Hootsuite for day-to-day social media monitoring, measuring, and listening
- Build reports & insights to communicate to management

Email journeys:
- Create for providers, leads, and consumers
- Engage with the audience and continue to optimize open and click-through rates

Point person for drafting, sending, and reporting on:
- Promotional messages
- New product announcements
- Other communications to customers

Expense control:
- Control social media expenses according to Marketing Director’s guidance and marketing budget

Tool management:
- Manage LVBX tool and agency to ensure optimal usage of the tool and drive social media reach

Campaign management:
- Brief and optimise social media and PPC lead generation campaigns in close partnership with the media agency
- Liaise with the CS team to share Meta leads

Content management platform:
- Own The Drop content management platform
- Partner with Sales and CS teams to ensure content is up to date and easy to access

E-commerce management:
- Manage E-com performance
- Optimize customer journey (cross-selling, UX) (DE)
- Create promotions and measure and track Performance (KPIs Tracking) (DE)
- Support Product launches via Digital landscape (webshop, website, and Ads) (DE)

Website maintenance:
- Review user experience and pageview metrics to optimize content flow
- Website updates
- Resource platform management available to clients

Analytics:
- Google Analytics analysis and reports

E-commerce support:
- Support the Senior Digital Manager in merchandising the e-commerce store
- Support with the Tradeshows and Congresses as required

Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of applicable experience in a social media role with a focus on customer service.
- Language: Fluency in English and German is a must.
- Social Media:
- Experience with all major social platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok
- Digital Marketing:
- Expertise with websites, digital campaigns, and Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of the digital environment (B2B- e-com) and lead generation
- Communication Skills: Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with sales, customer care, training/education, product, quality, and creative teams.
- Work Ethic: Proactive and timely responses to all incoming messages. Some weekend work expected.
- Content Creation: Eye for engaging, shareable content with the ability to think and act quickly.
- Innovation: Creative and innovative mindset to implement out-of-the-box campaigns.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that requires a high degree of multitasking, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Later, SurveyMonkey, Photoshop).
- Office Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and WordPress.
- Industry Experience: Beauty or aesthetics industry experience.
- Language Skills: Other language skills.
Location
Remote with occasional visits to the London Office.
