Senior Marketing Officer

Salary: £41,325 per year
Location: London
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – minimum 40% of working time face-to-face
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract, full-time, 35 hours per week

Overview

Our client is an international charity seeking a Senior Marketing Officer to support supporter activation and fundraising marketing activity.

The role is responsible for managing and delivering press insert campaigns, supporting the development of new campaigns and channels, and contributing to direct response television and brand activity. The successful candidate will work with internal teams, external agencies and suppliers to deliver audience-focused communications and support the continued development of the marketing programme.

The role may involve UK and international travel and liaison with stakeholders across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with internal teams, external agencies, media partners and printers to deliver campaigns and projects.
  • Develop the strategy, analysis and reporting for ongoing press insert campaigns.
  • Work with insight and creative teams to deliver audience-focused communications.
  • Support the preparation of annual plans and budgets.
  • Manage monthly cost monitoring and invoice processing.
  • Support the exploration and delivery of new campaigns, projects and channels.
  • Contribute to the delivery of direct response television and brand programmes.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for cross-team collaboration.
  • Champion commitments to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in direct marketing, fundraising, supporter activation, supporter engagement or customer marketing.
  • Experience in a project management role, including leading or supporting complex campaigns involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines in a changing environment.

Desirable

  • Experience managing direct marketing campaigns from start to finish across channels including print, telemarketing and digital.
  • Experience presenting to and managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in the voluntary or fundraising sector.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting short deadlines.
