About this role:
The Marketing Specialist supports multifamily communities through strategic marketing execution and cross-team collaboration. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role works closely with onsite teams, operations leaders, and third-party partners to support leasing performance, property visibility, and new business initiatives.
Hourly pay range:
$35.00 - $37.00 DOE
This is a contract position with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.
Fully remote, Monday–Friday - Must live in CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, TX. Occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.

- Partner with onsite and operations teams to execute marketing programs that support occupancy and leasing goals.
- Develop marketing budgets, monitor performance and spend, and provide ongoing, data-driven marketing recommendations.
- Review lead conversion data and ROI to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend adjustments.
- Support Business Development efforts by gathering market surveys, demographics, and localized insights for pitch decks and RFPs.
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategies.
- Provide technical support to onsite teams, including troubleshooting digital advertising and platform issues.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of marketing platforms including SOCi, Ellis, SatisFacts, Google Business Profile, Yelp, Apartments.com, Zillow, and others.
- Support the creation of marketing assets such as lifestyle videos, virtual staging, Matterport tours, brochures, and leasing signage.
- Assist with website development and updates, including copywriting, image selection, tags, chat tools, and community specials.
- Participate in marketing, leasing, and client meetings, as well as occasional new business presentations.

What you’ll need:
- 3+ years of marketing experience in the multifamily property management industry.
- Working knowledge of Property Management Software required: Entrata and/or AppFolio preferred.
- Experience managing marketing initiatives from planning through execution.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, paid media, retargeting, geofencing, and ILS platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting and review responses.
- Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for communities, company events, or conferences.
