We are looking for an experienced volunteer who can take the lead in strengthening our charity's marketing, PR fundraising and online presence.

Our charity supports a school and medical centre in rural SW Uganda, enabling 500 children to receive an education they could not normally afford.

What difference will you make?

Your knowledge, creativity, and guidance could help us tell our story more effectively, reach new supporters, increase vital fundraising, and build a stronger, more sustainable future for our charity.

Ultimately, your contribution will help transform the lives of hundreds more disadvantaged children and their families in rural Uganda over many years to come, by enabling them to access education, healthcare, and opportunities to build brighter futures.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience in marketing, communications, PR, or digital fundraising who is enthusiastic about using their skills to make a real difference. You should be confident in developing and implementing social media and digital marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and identifying opportunities to increase awareness and support for our charity.

Experience of online fundraising campaigns, email marketing, or working with websites would be an advantage, but the most important qualities are creativity, initiative, and a willingness to share your knowledge with others.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Your expertise will play a vital role in helping us increase our visibility, engage new supporters, grow our fundraising, and share the impact of our work.

About Us

We are a small, established charity based in Shepperton, that has been supporting disadvantaged communities in rural Uganda for over 15 years. During that time, we have helped build a school, a medical centre, vocational training workshops, and other essential community facilities.

We are now working with our partners to make the project increasingly self-sustaining, particularly through coffee cultivation. While this is a promising initiative, it is still in its early stages, and we will continue to rely on fundraising for several years to come.

The difference you could make

By helping us improve our marketing and communications, you will enable us to

  • Reach new audiences and supporters
  • Increase online engagement and donations
  • Develop effective fundraising campaigns
  • Raise awareness of our work and its impact
  • Help transform the lives of hundreds more disadvantaged children and their families in rural Uganda

If you're looking to use your marketing expertise to make a genuine and lasting difference, we'd love to hear from you.
