About Pattern

Pattern accelerates brands on global marketplaces leveraging proprietary technology and AI. Utilising more than 91 trillion data points, sophisticated machine learning, and AI models, Pattern optimizes and automates all levers of e-commerce growth for global brands, including advertising, content management, logistics and fulfillment, pricing, forecasting, and customer service. Hundreds of global brands depend on Pattern's e-commerce acceleration platform every day to drive profitable revenue growth across 60+ global marketplaces — including Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, eBay, Tmall, TikTok Shop, JD, and Mercado Libre. Pattern is publicly traded on Nasdaq, giving us the financial substance and rigour of a listed company alongside the pace and autonomy of a scale-up.

Role: Marketplace Account Executive

As a Marketplace Account Executive, you'll work to identify and engage strategic prospect accounts in partnership with an assigned Global Named Account Manager, qualify the primary points of contact for Pattern's core offerings, identify and communicate where our partnership will add transformative value to those prospects, and, ultimately, drive deals to a close throughout the duration of the sales cycle. We're looking for someone with proven selling experience who shares the same core traits of data-driven, self-starting, and comfortable managing complexity.

This role is a genuine blend of prospecting and account executive-style ownership. You'll carry a target that sits in lockstep with your partnered Enterprise Named Account Manager, and you'll stay involved in managing and supporting deals as they move through the funnel, not just at the top of it.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Qualify prospect accounts in partnership with Enterprise Named Account Manager, and own a target that sits in lockstep with theirs.
  • Go beyond booking meetings — actively help manage and progress deals through the full sales cycle, not just the top of the funnel.
  • Find and engage primary points of contact for Pattern's Core 3P offering, and potential other solutions.
  • Manage the complexity of a long, multi-stakeholder deal cycle — creating your own urgency to keep opportunities moving rather than waiting to be told what's next.
  • Research e-commerce categories and identify high growth brands/products to trade on marketplace platforms.
  • Research relevant stakeholders and identify value propositions, including how to navigate and build trust with more senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Network via LinkedIn and offline to build relationships and organise meetings.
  • Craft value-driven messages specific to enterprise accounts' current pain points and needs.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Named Account Managers on account plans and shared targets.
  • Inbound outreach with compelling messages through multiple value-driven touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the enterprise account-based Marketing and Alliances team to penetrate and set appointments with enterprise accounts.
  • Stay disciplined and on-target even against a large number with a long sales cycle — this is a marathon role, not a series of quick wins.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Masters degree.
  • A genuine track record in direct, new-business B2B selling.
  • A true self-starter: someone who creates their own urgency rather than waiting to be pushed, and who can manage the complexity of a long, multi-stakeholder deal without losing momentum.
  • The discipline to stay on target across a large number and a long sales cycle — this isn't a quick-win role.
  • Comfort building relationships and navigating conversations with more senior stakeholders, both internally at Pattern and with external clients.
  • Excellent listening and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to represent Pattern in a polished and professional manner to existing and potential clients.

Nice to Have’s

  • Prior e-commerce / marketplace experience — preferable, but not essential. We'd rather hire for the self-starter mentality, ability to manage complexity, run a sales cycle, and manage external stakeholders, than for Ecom exposure alone.

Company Culture

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Game Changers: A game changer is someone who looks at problems with an open mind and shares new ideas with team members, regularly reassesses existing plans and attaches a realistic timeline to goals, makes profitable, productive, and innovative contributions, and actively pursues improvements to Pattern's processes and outcomes.
  • Data Fanatics: A data fanatic is someone who recognises problems and seeks to understand them through data, draws unbiased conclusions based on data that lead to actionable solutions, and continues to track the effects of the solutions using data.
  • Partner Obsessed: An individual who is partner obsessed clearly explains the status of projects to partners and relies on constructive feedback, actively listens to partners' expectations and delivers results that exceed them, prioritises the needs of your partners, and takes the time to create a personable experience for those interacting with Pattern.
  • Team of Doers: Someone who is a part of a team of doers uplifts team members and recognises their specific contributions, takes initiative to help in any circumstance, actively contributes to supporting improvements, and holds themselves accountable to the team as well as to partners.
