Location: Alcester
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

A growing and successful business is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Marketplace Administrator to support the management and development of its online sales channels.

This is a varied position that combines administration, marketplace management, product maintenance, and customer support. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products are accurately represented across online platforms, orders are processed efficiently, and opportunities to increase online sales are identified and actioned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of customer orders and coordinate dispatches to fulfilment partners and marketplace warehouses.
  • Monitor marketplace inventory levels and manage returns, including excess, damaged, and slow-moving stock.
  • Create, update, and maintain product listings across various online sales platforms.
  • Review product content regularly to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimum marketplace performance.
  • Ensure product listings comply with marketplace requirements and relevant UK and European regulations.
  • Support the continued growth and development of online marketplace accounts.
  • Research and identify opportunities to expand into new marketplaces and sales channels.
  • Investigate and resolve marketplace-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Produce reports and analyse marketplace data to support decision-making and performance improvements.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth marketplace operations.

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within e-commerce, marketplace management, supply chain, logistics, or sales support.
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Confidence working with product data, online systems, and reporting tools.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify efficiencies and improvements.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, or similar marketplace platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketplaces such as eBay, TEMU, TikTok Shop, OnBuy, or other online sales channels.
  • Experience optimising product listings to improve visibility and conversion rates.
  • Understanding of marketplace advertising, including PPC campaigns, keyword optimisation, and performance reporting.
  • Experience working with automated reporting systems, data feeds, or API-driven platforms.
