Marketplace Executive
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester - Hybrid working
Salary: Competitive, plus performance-related bonus
Employment type: Permanent, full-time
The opportunity:
A fast-growing international e-commerce business is looking for a Marketplace Executive to support the continued expansion of its consumer brands across Amazon, eBay, Temu, and other online marketplaces.
Working as part of a newly developing marketplaces team, you will help manage day-to-day trading, listings, advertising, promotions, and operational performance across multiple countries and product ranges.
This role would suit someone with existing marketplace experience who wants to develop their commercial skills and play an important part in an ambitious international growth plan.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise product listings, titles, keywords, images, and product content.
- Support marketplace trading plans, promotions, and new product launches.
- Create, monitor, and optimise marketplace advertising campaigns.
- Track sales, profitability, stock, pricing, and account performance.
- Analyse marketplace data and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Coordinate inventory requirements with purchasing and supply-chain teams.
- Resolve listing, compliance, and account-health issues.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, and marketplace trends.
- Support expansion into new marketplaces, countries, and product categories.
- Produce regular commercial and operational performance reports.
- Work closely with marketing, product, e-commerce, and customer-service teams.

About you:
- Previous experience working with Amazon, eBay, or another major marketplace.
- Understanding of marketplace listings, advertising, and performance reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in profitable online growth.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Good written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within retail, consumer products, or sporting goods would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of international marketplaces or additional languages would be beneficial.
