Marketplace Manager - Europe & UK
Stockport | Hybrid - 3 days in office (flexi-times) | £55,000 - £60,000 + Performance Bonus
Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are proud to be representing a leading European home and lifestyle business as they recruit a Marketplace Manager - Europe & UK.
This is a key growth role, responsible for accelerating an established UK marketplace business while driving expansion across Europe.
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you will take ownership of sales, margin, assortment, stock, promotions and marketplace relationships, while identifying and launching new opportunities across the UK and Europe.
The Role:
- Own commercial performance across UK and European marketplaces
- Develop and deliver marketplace growth plans
- Identify and launch new marketplace partners and territories
- Build market-specific assortments and trading strategies
- Manage budgets, forecasts, pricing, promotions and stock performance
- Analyse customer, competitor and marketplace data to identify growth opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations and onboarding with new partners
- Work cross-functionally to deliver successful launches and scalable marketplace processes

About You:
- Proven experience in ecommerce marketplaces or online retail
- Strong commercial ownership of sales, with margin or profit experience desirable
- Experience growing existing channels and launching new marketplaces, partners or territories
- Strong analytical and trading skills
- A solid understanding of pricing, promotions, assortment, conversion and stock
- Confidence managing and negotiating with external marketplace partners
- European marketplace experience would be highly advantageous
