Marketplace Manager - EU & UK
£50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus
Box Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an award-winning UK and European supplier of licensed homeware and soft furnishings, working with some of the biggest and most recognised brands in the industry. We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Marketplace Manager - EU & UK to join the business at an exciting stage of its growth. The successful candidate will have significant ownership across sales, margin, pricing, promotions, assortment and stock, with the opportunity to make a major impact on the company's international marketplace growth.
The Opportunity
The business has an established UK & European expansion strategy and is looking for an experienced marketplace professional who can take that strategy and execute it commercially across the EU. The wider UK marketplace portfolio includes channels such as Amazon, eBay, Tesco and B&Q, with further marketplace opportunities planned as the business continues to expand with plans to launch into OTTO and Kaufland

- Take full commercial ownership of marketplace performance across the UK and Europe.
- Manage and grow the existing UK marketplace business.
- Lead the launch and development of new European marketplace channels.
- Drive sales, revenue and profitability across all marketplace activity.
- Take ownership of P&L and margin performance.
- Manage pricing, promotions, assortment and stock strategy.
- Develop marketplace trading plans and forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability across existing channels.
- Execute the company's European marketplace expansion strategy.
- Launch new marketplaces and territories throughout Europe.
- Build strong commercial relationships with marketplace partners.
- Analyse marketplace performance and use data to identify opportunities and drive decision-making.
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, product, operations, finance and supply chain.
- Manage marketplace activity through systems including Rithum and Business Central.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and marketplace developments.
- Provide regular commercial reporting and performance analysis.

Essential Experience
- Proven marketplace management experience.
- Experience within home, homeware, lifestyle, consumer goods or licensed products would be highly desirable.
- This is a role for an experienced marketplace professional who understands the commercial side of marketplace trading.
- Strong UK marketplace experience (Amazon would be a bonus)
- Proven European marketplace experience.
- Experience launching and growing new marketplaces or marketplace channels.
- Experience working across multiple marketplace platforms.
- The ability to develop and execute marketplace growth strategies.
Package
- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + performance bonus
- Hybrid working three days Office Two days at home
