The Role

You will be supporting the Head of Merchandising to define opportunities across all channels & markets, with significant potential to develop infrastructure and maximise commercial opportunities.

The role will map out and define an optimal market led trading calendar that links across all business functions. Ensuring competitiveness and commerciality of trading events to ensure revenue, profit and sell through targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devising and driving trading, marketing and merchandising strategies, in close collaboration with planning, marketing and wider ecommerce teams, to achieve and exceed targets for our third-party websites
  • Responsible for selecting and the day-to-day trading of our websites and third-party websites
  • Compiling accurate daily, weekly, and seasonal reports on trading performance including product categories and ranges, and helping to identify trends and opportunities
  • Your data driven approach ensures you are able to identify opportunities to optimise performance and succinctly provide insight and performance reviews; identifying trade risks and opportunities
  • Successful and timely seasonal product launches on our websites and third-party websites, managing the product critical path
  • Coordinating and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure product data and descriptions are accurate, consistent and aligned to partner requirements
  • Complete regular QA checks of third-party catalogues, reviewing and optimising categorisation, product pages and brand shop to increase traffic, product ranking and product conversion
  • Implement promotions, sale and seasonal marketing campaigns throughout the year across all channels
  • Developing strong collaborative relationships across all departments especially Ecommerce, Marketing and Product Teams
  • Customer-focused knowledge of US, UK & International online markets and be able to identify and present potential new opportunities
  • Benchmarking against competitors and bringing new ideas
  • Help to define the in-season trading calendar, pricing strategy, channel strategy and localisation.

  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar Merchandising role in a retail or consumer facing brand
  • An analytical and questioning mentality with excellent excel skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise heavy workloads
  • Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
  • A dynamic team player with great interpersonal skills
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • The ability to present and influence external and internal key stakeholder

Please note this role is based 4 days on-site with 1 day wfh
