Who are we looking for (position description)?
We are looking for a Marketplace (Customer) Operations Specialist to support us in our global growth ambitions within our Teamsport division. A solutions-oriented individual who embraces collaboration and provides clear and concise communication to internal and external customers.
You should have strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and problem solve using sound judgment and analytical thinking. Proven ability to work well as an individual and as a team player, remaining effective in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multi-task and build strong relationships throughout the Zelus business.

Who will you work with (key stakeholders)?
This role reports directly to the Marketplace Operations Team Lead under the guidance of the Marketplace Operations Manager. You will be a member of the Marketplace Operations team who provide the critical link between our Supply Chain function and our partner management teams.
You will have frequent contact with all departments, more specifically with the sales, purchasing and logistics teams, as well as with our external customer base. The role also drives relationships with 3rd party providers of screen printing and other post-embellishment services.
What am I going to be responsible for (key accountabilities)?
As a Marketplace Operations Specialist you are responsible for managing customer orders, providing reports and clear order status information directly to customers or through our partner management teams.
Customer service excellence is the name of the game with the aim of delivery in full and on-time. Work cross-functionally to inform shipping decisions and minimise cost impacts. Key contact with 3rd party distribution partners to ensure the timely flow of stock to achieve critical launch requirements.
Ensuring that critical performance KPI’s are monitored, reported and delivered against is a key responsibility. Always evaluating current ways of working and exploring opportunities to deliver continuous process improvement.
What will you bring (experience, skills and qualifications)?
- At least 2 years of directly relevant customer focused work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated, with strong organizational skills (multi-tasking)
- Adaptable, flexible and agile you are comfortable working on your own but prefer to accomplish success through working in a team.
- Understanding of Sports, Retail, FMCG Industry is an advantage.
- Fluency in verbal and written English. Other languages are highly desirable.
