E-Commerce & Marketplace Administrator
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Marketplace Administrator to support the day-to-day management of their online sales channels, with a particular focus on Amazon.
This is a varied role that combines administrative support, logistics coordination, and marketplace management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently, products are accurately listed, and opportunities to grow online sales are identified.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the administration of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery to Amazon and other fulfilment locations.
- Monitoring and managing returns from Amazon, including overstocked, damaged, or slow-selling items.
- Create, maintain, and update product listings across online marketplaces.
- Review and optimise product content to improve visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance.
- Check and ensure all products meet Amazon's compliance standards for the UK and EU.
- Support the ongoing development and growth of the Amazon marketplace presence.
- Research and explore opportunities to expand into additional online marketplaces and sales channels.
- Resolve marketplace queries and support customers where required.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- The ability to work independently, be self-motivated and able to problem solve.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central or other marketplace platforms would be advantageous.
- Previous administration experience, ideally within e-commerce, sales support, or logistics.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Confidence working with data, product information, and online systems.
- A proactive approach and willingness to identify process improvements and growth opportunities.
Desirable Skills

- Experience in product listing optimisation.
- Understanding of online marketplaces such as eBay, TEMU or similar platforms.
- Experience using Amazon PPC advertising including budget monitoring, keyword and search-term optimisation, and reporting on ACOS/ROAS to grow sales profitably.
- Comfortable working with API-driven reports and automated data tools, and happy to learn the system and languages that feed them.
