We’re working with a leading global financial services firm seeking a Global Markets Compliance Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong business-facing Compliance experience across Equities and Credit, ideally with experience working directly with trading desks. The role is a 6 month contract, hybrid in London and paying £700 per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day compliance advice and risk-based oversight to Global Markets businesses, with a focus on Equities and Credit.
- Advise trading and sales teams on regulatory requirements including MiFID, MAR, EMIR, and Short Selling.
- Support regulatory change projects, assessing new regulations and advising the business on their impact and implementation.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, and investigations, including responding to internal, regulatory, exchange, and venue enquiries.
- Deliver compliance training and provide regular management information and regulatory updates to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements:
- Strong business-facing Compliance experience
- Specific experience across Equities and Credit
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU markets regulation, including MiFID, MAR, EMIR, and Short Selling.
- Available to start within a month.
