The company’s experienced Crew Managers lead capable site teams who are comfortable delivering complete turnkey builds or working alongside client teams. Synergy Crew provides dedicated, professional, qualified, and highly trained personnel to offer a complete service from site planning through to execution. The team can carry out site visits, lift plans, and site activation, as well as daily site management to ensure safe, efficient operations. Synergy Crew also supports finishing, carpentry, and interior works when required, offering end-to-end project and event delivery.
Role Description
The Marquee Erector role at Synergy Crew Ltd is an on-site position based in the United Kingdom. The Marquee Erector will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling marquees and temporary structures for events, following site plans and safety guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading equipment, preparing event sites, erecting frames and coverings, securing structures, and carrying out basic finishing work as required. The role involves working as part of a crew under the guidance of Crew Managers, collaborating with other trades and client teams on busy event sites. The Marquee Erector is expected to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism while working in varying weather conditions and occasionally to tight timelines.

- Experience in marquee erection, temporary structures, construction, or event site setup, with practical skills in using hand and power tools.
- Understanding of site safety practices, manual handling, and working at height, ideally supported by relevant health and safety training or certifications.
- Ability to read and follow basic site plans or instructions, with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and structural integrity.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow direction from Crew Managers and collaborate effectively with diverse site teams.
- High level of physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform outdoor, hands-on work in varying weather conditions and for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable, with a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and peak event periods.
- Full, valid UK driving licence and access to transport are desirable; prior experience in the events industry or carpentry/finishing work is an advantage.
