Martech Engineer
London or Brighton (Hybrid, 2 days per week) | Up to £55,000 + Bonus
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing digital consultancy where technology and marketing intersect. You'll build proprietary tools, develop scalable data solutions, and work closely with digital marketing specialists to create products that improve performance, efficiency, and client outcomes.
The Role
As a Martech Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain internal and client-facing tools that support digital marketing and analytics teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable applications and automation solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Building API integrations and data pipelines that connect marketing platforms and business systems
- Creating reusable tools that improve data accessibility and operational efficiency
- Working with cloud-based data environments, including BigQuery and GCP
- Collaborating with analytics, SEO, paid media, and content teams to solve technical challenges
- Maintaining and enhancing existing products and platforms
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues across proprietary tools
- Contributing to innovation initiatives, including AI-driven workflows and automation
- Supporting the design and delivery of secure, scalable technical solutions for clients

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging applications in a cloud environment
- Exposure to GCP, BigQuery, or similar cloud data platforms
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and data ingestion processes
- Understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, paid search, paid social, or content
- Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to ownership

Desirable experience:
- ETL platforms such as Funnel or Adverity
- Data warehousing and dashboarding projects
- AI tooling, automation, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar technologies
- Experience working within a digital agency or consulting environment
