Bluebell Wellness | Based at 121GYM Newport
Bluebell Wellness is looking for a passionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our growing team at our clinic within 121GYM Newport.
Working alongside our chiropractic and rehabilitation team, you’ll support a varied client base ranging from everyday clients looking to improve their wellbeing through to active gym members and athletes requiring recovery, mobility and therapeutic treatment. We’re looking for someone who is confident working independently, delivers an excellent client experience and is passionate about helping people move, recover and feel better.
The Role
As a Massage Therapist at Bluebell Wellness, your responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with clients to understand their individual needs, preferences and treatment goals.
- Assessing clients and recommending appropriate massage treatments.
- Delivering high-quality therapeutic and sports massage treatments.
- Adjusting massage techniques and pressure according to each individual client.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client treatment records, including relevant medical history, injuries, medication and lifestyle information.
- Advising clients on posture, mobility, stretching, recovery and relaxation techniques.
- Educating clients on available treatments and supporting them in selecting the most appropriate service.
- Recognising when a client may require additional clinical support and referring them to an appropriate healthcare professional where necessary.
- Managing appointments and maintaining excellent communication with clients.
- Supporting the promotion and growth of massage services within Bluebell Wellness.
- Where required, attending corporate or external locations to provide on-site massage treatments.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Qualified in massage therapy and/or sports massage.
- Professional, approachable and client-focused.
- Confident working with a wide range of clients and conditions.
- Passionate about health, fitness, recovery and general wellbeing.
- Reliable, organised and able to manage their own client diary.
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary health and wellness team.
- Proactive in helping build and develop their own client base.
