The Osteopaths & Physios is a well-established practice with over eighteen years of experience and Four accessible clinics in Glasgow, Linwood, Erskine & Dalry.

Role Description

This part-time, on-site Massage Therapist role is based at The Osteopaths & Physios clinic in Linwood. Initially covering our Saturday list, the Massage Therapist will provide high-quality therapeutic and body massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs, supporting recovery from pain, tension, and injury. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Assessing clients’ presenting concerns
  • Recommending appropriate massage techniques
  • Maintaining accurate treatment notes
  • Collaborating with osteopaths and physiotherapists to deliver integrated care

The Massage Therapist will be expected to uphold clinic standards, follow relevant regulatory and health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive, inclusive patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual needs.
  • Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar complementary modalities that enhance patient relaxation and recovery.
  • Strong Customer Service abilities, including clear communication, empathy, and professionalism in patient interactions.
  • Recognized massage therapy qualification or certification, with appropriate professional registration or eligibility where required.
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions; experience in a clinical or health-care setting is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and follow clinical protocols and health and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work part-time clinic hours in ur Linwood clinic near Paisley with reliability and strong time-management skills.
