Role Description

This is a freelance on-site Massage Therapist role based in Hertfordshire, Cambridge, London, Essex. The Massage Therapist will provide professional seated acupressure and other appropriate massage services during corporate wellbeing days, events, and on-site wellness programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment, managing client flow and appointment timing, and delivering safe, effective treatments tailored to individual needs within a corporate environment. The role involves clear communication with clients and on-site contacts, maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism, and representing Mobile Massages in a friendly, reliable, and engaging manner. The Massage Therapist will also support basic administrative tasks related to sessions, such as tracking attendance and collecting feedback.

  • Possess relevant massage therapy skills, including proficiency in seated acupressure chair massage and other therapeutic techniques appropriate for corporate settings.
  • Demonstrate strong client care abilities, such as clear communication, active listening, professional bedside manner, and sensitivity to diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Show reliable time management and organizational skills, including managing session schedules, maintaining equipment, and working efficiently in busy workplace environments.
  • Exhibit physical stamina and proper body mechanics to perform multiple sessions safely, while following health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
  • Hold a recognized massage therapy qualification or certification and any required state or local licensure; current professional liability insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Bring experience in corporate, event, or mobile massage settings, with the ability to adapt to different workplaces and collaborate effectively with event and HR teams.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and willingness to work occasional extended hours aligned with corporate events and wellness days.
