Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Master Automotive Technician role based in Gaydon. The Master Automotive Technician will perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and performance. Daily responsibilities include:

- Conducting scheduled maintenance
- Performing oil changes
- Inspecting and repairing suspension systems
- Resolving complex mechanical issues

The role involves:
- Mentoring junior technicians
- Maintaining accurate repair records
- Following manufacturer guidelines
- Collaborating with instructional staff to support training programs
The technician will adhere to all safety standards, use appropriate diagnostic tools, and contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to manage complex service tasks independently.
- Proficiency in routine service work, including Oil Changes and related preventive maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on expertise in Automotive Repair, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and component replacement.
- Experience inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing Suspension systems to ensure vehicle safety and handling.
- Relevant automotive qualification or certification (e.g., NVQ, ASE, manufacturer-specific training) preferred.
- Proven experience as a senior or master technician in a professional workshop environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic reports.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and high standards of workmanship.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to mentor and support less experienced technicians and learners.
