Rare Opportunity for a Bakery Manager or Baker to Transition into Technical Sales Support Role
A rare opportunity for a commercially minded qualified and experienced Bakery Manager or Baker to move into a technical sales support role for a manufacturer of bakery equipment, specifically dough processing systems, sold to the bakery market across the UK, both to large commercial and smaller artisan/craft bakeries.
BASIC SALARY
- up to £50,000 Base
BENEFITS
- Choice of Hybrid Company car or Car allowance + 5% Pension
LOCATION
- Home based, covering the whole of the UK and Ireland, with trips to Europe for product tests and trials as well as training for 1 week at a time but 4 to 6 times a year.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- This is a technical support role supporting clients and the company's sales team with a mix of working from home and client visits alone and alongside the sales team.
- 1 week trips to Europe for training and for product tests and trials 4 to 6 times a year will be required.
- Intensive product training in Europe will be provided in the first 3 months of your employment.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experienced Bakery Manager or Supervisor with experience of product development or continuous improvement.
- Ideally, experience with automated pastry lines.
- Relevant Bakery or Pastry Chef Qualifications.
- Excellent communications skills and comfortable working directly with clients.
