ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Master Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of commercial master data across ghd's global business systems.
Working closely with Product Development, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Commercial teams, you will maintain and govern data relating to materials, finished goods, product attributes, specifications, and product hierarchies across Microsoft Dynamics, PLM, and associated business systems.
You will act as a key custodian of product data, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and available to support product launches, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, planning, procurement, reporting, and commercial decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded professional who enjoys working with data, identifying improvements, and driving high standards of data quality and governance within a fast-paced global business.
LOCATION
This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Master Data Management & Governance
- Create, maintain, and govern product, material, component, and finished goods master data within Microsoft Dynamics and associated systems.
- Ensure master data is accurate, consistent, complete, and aligned with established governance standards and controls.
- Support new product introductions, product changes, and end-of-life processes through effective master data management.
- Monitor and resolve data quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Support master data audits and compliance activities to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Produce reports and insights that support commercial decision-making, data governance initiatives, and operational performance.
- Analyse data trends, identify anomalies, and provide recommendations to improve data quality and business processes.
- Utilise reporting and analytical tools to support ongoing business requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert for product and material master data processes.
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on master data standards and best practices.
- Facilitate alignment between business functions to ensure consistent data management practices globally.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve data governance, system processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Support the development and implementation of data quality initiatives and process enhancements.
- Contribute to the evolution of master data management practices across the business.
Master Data Support
- Provide ad hoc support for Master Data activities.
- Work with ghd's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system to support data governance, alignment, and cross-system data integrity.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working in a data, analytical, operations, finance, supply chain, or commercial support role.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with accurate, high-quality data.
- Intermediate Excel skills and the confidence to analyse and manipulate data.
- Experience using business systems, databases, or ERP platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Curiosity and initiative to identify improvements and challenge existing ways of working.
- Exposure to Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or master data management practices would be a plus.
