Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist
Are you passionate about data accuracy, governance, and business process improvement?
We're looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and governance of master data across our SAP ERP and PLM environments.
At the heart of product lifecycle and customer data management, you'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, reliable data supports operational excellence and informed decision-making across the business.

In this role, you'll own and maintain the trusted data foundation that enables efficient operations, successful product launches, and consistent business performance across our global business.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the governance and quality of our master data, ensuring it reflects the excellence we expect from our products and operations.
- Supporting new product introductions by ensuring product, material, BOM, routing, and costing data is set up correctly.
- Working with teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Product Management to make sure data supports day-to-day operations.
- Collaborating with local, regional, and global stakeholders to maintain data standards and support evolving business needs.
- Investigating and resolving data issues and helping to improve data quality across the business with education and collaboration.
- Supporting system changes, data migrations, and integration activities between PLM and SAP.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve consistency, and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborating with all data owners across the business to ensure compliance with the new standards we expect for our systems and support.

What we're looking for
- Proven experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or ERP data management, with a track record of supporting business-critical processes.
- Strong SAP expertise (ECC and/or S/4HANA), including Material Master, BOMs, Routings, and related manufacturing data.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment, with an understanding of how high-quality data underpins operational performance.
- Knowledge of PLM processes, product structures, engineering change management, and data governance principles.
- Experience of working with customer data ensuring the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and levels of the organisation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge, improve processes, and drive high data standards.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant SAP, Master Data Management, or Data Governance certifications would be an advantage.
