Master Data Specialist
Hybrid / Master Data Management / Global Fashion Brand
A global Japanese fashion brand is currently recruiting a Master Data Specialist to support the establishment and ongoing management of its independent master data capability in Europe. The role will take hands-on ownership of master data across the end-to-end flow from Centric 8 through Informatica to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate data for purchasing, sales, logistics, e-commerce, invoicing, and reporting.

Main Responsibilities
- Own and manage master data operations across Customer, Vendor, Article/Material, Pricing, Product/Assortment, Employee/HR, and Compliance domains
- Manage the end-to-end data flow from Centric 8 through Informatica and SAP S/4HANA to downstream systems including WMS, Magento, marketplaces, and regional systems
- Maintain article, product, pricing, business partner, and organisational master data, ensuring accuracy and business continuity
- Manage compliance-related master data including HS/commodity codes, product composition, packaging, weight and volume, and EPR data
- Maintain data integrations, investigate data quality issues, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and technology partners
- Establish and maintain master data governance, authorisation controls, segregation of duties, and audit requirements
- Support knowledge transfer, transition activities, SIT/UAT, cutover, and Day 1 readiness
- Progressively establish the enduring in-house master data capability while coordinating with business functions and global teams

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP master data / MDM experience
- Strong experience with Informatica and end-to-end data flows involving SAP S/4HANA
- Practical knowledge of pricing master data, HS/commodity codes, product dimensions, and EPR
- Strong understanding of master data governance, controls, and data quality
- Retail or fashion industry experience is highly advantageous
- Experience with ERP separation, carve-outs, or TSA arrangements is advantageous
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to communicate technical data topics clearly to business stakeholders

- Location: London, UK or Hoofddorp, Netherlands
- Working Style: hybrid
- Salary: £50-60K
- Job Type: permanent, full-time
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Start: ASAP
