Job title: Master Data / Product Change Analyst 12m FTC

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the master data in Informatica iMDM system and supporting ERP systems. The Packaging Change activities support global packaging/ distribution sites secondary packaging requirements during approval through to live in production.
Responsibilities
- Creation of packaging parts and secondary packaging bills of materials in e-QMS quality management system
- Creation of Packaging Change Orders in e-QMS quality management system
- Interface with New Product Launch Change Orders and linkage between Packaging Change Orders and associated product launches in e-QMS
- Responsibility for the Packaging Change Order workflow ensuring prompt approval from a variety of departments and liaising any questions or rejections
- Utilising CooperVision’s Vision Pack system to organise print proofs for components with suppliers
- Coordination of release of the Packaging Change Order and notification to appropriate functional teams at packaging sites when ready for use in production.
- Communicate across other departments regarding new items implementations
- SME for project teams
- Lead for corporate product launch process in reference to item master data and packaging execution and expertise
- Assist to define the business processes that ensure the consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of global item data
- SME for corporate product launches, discontinuations and movements; provide updates to and communication with cross functional team involved in item master data in ERP, planning and Master Data Management (MDM) systems
- Supports data conversion activities relative to master item data as applicable
- Assist team in identifying and reconciling data input discrepancies, based on daily/weekly reporting provided, or any other method that identifies discrepancies
- Adheres to data governance policies and procedures
- Responsible for continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes
- Considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
- Actively support & participate in projects commissioned to create, update or enhance item master data, including acquisitions, conversions and new system implementations/updates, packaging updated
- Assist in development and execution of effective test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration to cross functional and process stream impact from user standpoint
- Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet quality, organization standards and end user requirements
- Perform various data quality checks, including investigation and remediation steps
- Communicate and resolve cross-functional process issues while actively driving process improvements for maintaining quality
- Item Set up, Maintenance and Rationalization in IMDM, Oracle and related systems to satisfy business requirements, including but not limited to creating reports, preparing root cause of data and understanding system infrastructure and master data models
- SME for legacy ERP system managing all item related projects and/or changes/updates to item/product master data as required
- Organize and update relevant data across multiple platforms (IMDM, Baan, Oracle, etc.)
- Assist in distributing UPC and EAN barcodes as needed, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Self Motivated, ability to work independently as well as a strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to drive to root cause.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate standards and standard processes and to understand and document processes.
- Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform to a high level of accuracy in all tasks
- Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes and procedures
- Good knowledge of Excel is essential (specifically working with macros, formulas and text/character)
Work Environment:
- Normal office environment.
- Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
- Ability to perform light to medium physical work and standing for long periods of time, if required depending on the task.
- This will be a 12 month fixed contract.

Experience:
- Previous experience with at least one ERP system (Baan, SAP, etc)
- Previous experience with planning systems and master data management systems, a plus.
- Initiative - to be able to proactively identify, process and question base information and with minimal supervision
- Good PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in related field or 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What we offer:
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $73,674.00 and $98,232.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
For UK locations, compensation will be discussed on application.
