Master Production Scheduler – Sheffield – Highly Competitive Salary

Duties:

Production Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer demand and capacity
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Coordinate with materials, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely material availability

Inventory & Materials Management

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimise excess
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to manage material flow and reduce shortages

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyse production data to identify inefficiencies, trends and improvement opportunities
  • Generate and present reports to senior management with actionable insights

Hours: 37 hours (4.5 days per week) Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4pm) and Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm)

Required skills & experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong proficiency in MRP/ERP system
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
