About MNB Precision

Established over 40 years ago, MNB Precision provides manufacturing and precision engineering services to the world’s leading companies across the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Rail and other manufacturing industries.

We are currently looking for an experienced Master Production Scheduler to join the team and take ownership of the master production schedule, ensuring manufacturing capacity, customer requirements, materials and resources are effectively planned and aligned to achieve on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities For The Master Production Scheduler

  • Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule, ensuring customer demand, production capacity, material availability and operational priorities are effectively managed.
  • Develop realistic and achievable production schedules across the business, taking account of machine capacity, labour availability, tooling, materials, subcontract operations and manufacturing lead times.
  • Translate customer requirements and sales demand into clear production plans, ensuring priorities are understood and communicated across production, engineering, purchasing and quality.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and Engineering Manager to optimise machine loading, capacity utilisation and production flow across a low-volume precision engineering environment.
  • Monitor production progress against the master schedule, identifying risks to customer delivery at an early stage and implementing appropriate recovery plans.
  • Manage and communicate changes to the production schedule, ensuring urgent customer requirements, engineering changes, machine downtime and material constraints are reflected quickly and effectively.
  • Use ERP/MRP such as Factory Master and Seiki Systems to maintain accurate planning data, production orders, lead times, routings and scheduling information.
  • Coordinate subcontract and external processing requirements, ensuring work is planned and returned in line with the overall production schedule.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve manufacturing lead times, increase capacity utilisation and improve on-time delivery.
  • Provide clear and regular updates on production status, delivery risks, capacity constraints and schedule performance to the management team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
